Diamond wet polishing pads are one of the main products we produce. They are sintered by hot pressed of diamond powder and other fillers with resin bond. Our company built a strict quality-monitoring framework to control the quality of the raw materials, matching our mature production experience, which ensures that our products are of good quality. Wet polishing pads are mainly used on hand held grinder or floor polishing machine for professional polishing on the curved edges or flat surfaces of granite, marble, concrete and other natural stone. They are aggressive, long-lasting and dye-free on surface, the safe line speed is better to be below 4500rpm.
Specifications of wet diamond polishing pads:
Size: 3″, 4″, 5″, 7″
Grit: 50#, 100#, 200#, 400#, 800#, 1500#, 3000#
Thickness: 3mm
The polishing pads are very frequently designed with a hook and loop style backing that allows for easy fastening and removal from the grinding machine. We choose different color of velcro for pads of various grits, becides, we also mark grit numbers on the velcro, so it will be much easier for our customers to identify.
This pad is very flexible, can bend properly, so it can polish some curved surface or unenven ground, truely achieve polishing without dead angle.
One of the functions of the water is used for cooling the pad, the other task the water performs is cleaning away the dust that is generated from the wearing down of the stone. Wet polishing pad can sometimes provide a higher degree of shine due to the fact that the pads are kept cooler.
The necessary presence of water in the environment means that the fabricator will most likely need to have an area designed specifically for wet polishing. The water can create quite a mess and setting up a wet polishing environment in the customer’s home is just not practical. Therefore, using wet polishing pads is usually better suited for a fabrication shop.
